In this 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved training you will learn:

  • 9 Namaskars, 12 Pranayama, 18 Mudra, 27 Meditations, 36 Sequences,108 Asana
  • Hands on enhancements for core asana, quality of touch, scope of practice
  • Many ways to sequence a practice for specific benefits or themes
  • How to prevent, modify for and work with common Yoga injuries
  • Eight limbs of Yoga as guidelines for living a meaningful and purposeful life
  • History of Yoga, important teachers, modern styles of Yoga and mythology of common asana
  • Subtle body anatomy – nadis, chakras, prana vayus, koshas, dosha, gunas
  • Western anatomy – muscles, bones, fascia, nervous system
  • How to confidently communicate and demonstrate in front of a group
  • Creating and holding sacred space, compassionate presence, learning styles
  • Draft a business plan, public biography, business card and class descriptions


This program is for you if you:

  • Learn best in a small group. Classes are limited to 12 to 15 students.
  • Want to share your love of Yoga and help others improve their lives by becoming a Yoga instructor
  • Want to develop your yoga practice and go deeper into philosophy than is available in public classes
  • Intend to pursue training in speciality areas
  • Already practice and want to bring Yoga to your workplace
  • Want to become part of a like minded community and build friendships with others interested in healthy living
  • Feel ready for personal growth & transformation and want to get more in tune with your multidimensional self – body, mind, heart, spirit

With your personal embodiment as the foundation, our Yoga Alliance approved 200 hour training will give you the opportunity to study and practice techniques and philosophy from many traditions, some of which include vinyasa flow, restorative, Yin and basic hatha that you may practice or teach as gentle, moderate or vigorous. There are no prerequisites, although we suggest that you have some experience with Yoga.

Classes Meet:

  • 2 to 3 Sundays a month 9:30am to 4:30pm or
  • Every Wednesday 9:30am to 3:30pm
  • Classes start the week of October 1st
  • Early bird pricing ends September 1st

OM Work

Yoga Alliance requires 20 hours of non-contact hours. It is essential that you attend public classes in addition to your training hours and develop a home practice that includes the techniques and practices that we study (both count as non-contact hours). You will also be instructed to review material, practice teach, read and complete writing assignments and projects outside of class.

A Sample Day

  • 9:30 – 10:45 am
    Guided practice of asana, pranayama, meditation, mudra, mantra, relaxation and meditation
  • 10:45 – Noon
    Lecture, discussion, reflections, personal embodiment practices, sharing
  • Noon – 1:00 pm Break
  • 1:00 – 3:30 pm
    Analytical asana studies, anatomy, hands on experiential exercises, practice teaching
  • 3:30 – 4:30 pm
    Closing and integrating that may include a short practice of asana, pranayama and/or meditation


  • $2500 paid in full by September 1st
  • $2750 paid in full after September 1st
  • $250 deposit with your application will be applied to tuition
